We are seeking a Equipment Data Coordinator to support our Maintenance team. This position is responsible for all aspects of equipment reporting, fleet/rate performance management as well as coordination of equipment rentals. Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing

 

Equipment Reporting and Analysis

  • Maintain equipment hours database and provide ad hoc reporting from it as required.
  • Support for monthly equipment forecast database.
  • Review the idling relationships of the fleet and provide entries to reflect Standardized Machine Rates (SMR) consumption where required.
  • Review equipment transactions to ensure the location of the hours are aligned with the recovery and expense.
  • Build/maintain/interpret analytical spreadsheets and provide analysis as required.

 

Equipment Rates

  • Work with Equipment Records analyst to ensure equipment rates (hourly and weekly) are applied correctly in JDE.
  • Maintain Target Calculation databases including the Recovery Forecast database.
  • Assist with the maintenance and development of Fleet Reporting Strategy.
  • Provide weekly statement of the recovery for the equipment on the Alternative Rental Agreement

 

Equipment Setup and Master File Maintenance

  • Work with Equipment Records analyst to ensure integrity of the master information on equipment set up and all relevant data (master data, meter readings, location) is captured correctly.
  • Assist Equipment Record’s analyst with trouble shooting JDE issues as required.

Qualifications

What Makes You the ONE

 

  • Minimum of three years’ relevant analysis and costing experience.
  • Industrial construction or mining industry experience preferred.
  • ERP System and large data set management (JD Edwards preferred).
  • Proficiency in data analysis and manipulation using Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Spark for big data processing and analytics.
  • Strong SQL skills for querying and managing large datasets.
  • Post-secondary degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Data Science or a related field
  • Excellent to Expert Level Excel Skills – Experience with Power Pivot or Power BI
  • Understanding of JD Edwards and experience with ReportsNow Data Access Studio.
  • Appreciation or knowledge of operation and maintenance of equipment
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Python programming, specifically with Pandas, NumPy and Jupyter Notebook for data manipulation.
  • Strong abilities in using Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.
  • Proficient in SQL for data querying and database management.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions.
  • Ability to implement new systems and processes to improve efficiency and bottlenecks
