Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, this position will be responsible for the component asset creation/disposal process as well as forecasting and planning capital component replacements for the NACG multi-life heavy equipment fleets. As such the individual will have responsibility to work with planning staff to ensure the accuracy of the JDE Component Asset system and Reliability Engineers to ensure the overall accuracy of forecasting inputs (component rates and lifecycles) as well as directing site level personnel in the implementation of the replacement plan and then tracking and reporting on performance / compliance to budget.

The Financial Analyst is responsible for monitoring, reporting and analyzing project revenue and costs. They will work closely with operations to communicate site performance to upper management and help drive site profitability. This position manages monthly, quarterly and annual variance analysis, performs site forecasting / budgeting, coordinates with auditors, prepares working papers for internal and external reporting requirements and assists in ad-hoc projects as required. This position performs job setup, control and maintenance activities, as well as month end activities which includes revenue recognition on forecasted jobs. They work closely with internal departments to ensure all daily accounting activities are in compliance with United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (“US GAAP”), internal controls, policies, and procedures. NACG is a CPA Alberta Pre-Approved Program for practical experience.
This position will be the key liaison between Business Units, Information Technology, and Project Managers. As a customer focused team member with other IT staff, internal staff, external stakeholders, and management, this position will ensure that the response to assigned tasks, service request tickets, and projects is well defined, prioritized, and managed to meet the requirements and expectations of their customers. Similar accountabilities and assignments are expected of and provided to all three Business Analyst experience levels. Each experience level is differentiated by a level of proficiency required (i.e. experienced, proficient and skilled), as demonstrated through experience held and level of competence of knowledge, skills and abilities required. The time and support required to accomplish accountabilities and assignments will vary at each experience level. Business Analysts will be responsible to provide mentorship to other Business Analysts as requested and required.

The Engineering Manager reports to the General Manager of the mine site and is responsible for the development of short, medium long-term mine plans. Responsible for managing all engineering activities within a department, including design, development, production, quality and reclamation to final grade. In conjunction with the other department managers, is responsible for completing the mine budgets and incorporates into the mine plan to be submitted to the customer. Implements and maintains overall engineering objectives and initiatives. Confronts and solves performance\operational issues to improve efficiency. Leads and develops the engineering team.

The Human Resources Administrator will assist with the coordination, execution and delivery of HR programs and activities in support of the HR team. The successful candidate will have an interest and desire to learn aspects of HR and obtain valuable business and HR experience.
Ensure a safe, comfortable operating environment for all employees in the electrical maintenance department. Identify current and future electrical maintenance requirements; prepare budgets and controls expenses. Schedule electrical repairs, maintenance, and installation of electrical equipment in production machines, tools, facilities and distribution equipment. Study new electrical products and apply to existing equipment requirements. Implement and modify preventative electrical maintenance programs, and work with electrical vendors and contractors. Ensure the electrical installations mine wide operate safely and reliably and in accordance with MSHA,NEC and State rules and regulations.
Production Manager provides departmental leadership of the 200-person workforce, producing 3 million tons of coal per year. He is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment for production employees and insuring compliance with all Federal, State, and Company, safety, health and environmental regulations. He conducts continuing evaluations of blasting, stripping, and mining operations and direct improvements as necessary. He is responsible for departmental budget adherence. He serves as the company liaison with our customer’s operating personnel, addressing customer concerns, coal quality assurance, and delivery scheduling. This position reports to the General Manager.
